Cloudflare, Inc. hosts the site and processes your IP address to deliver the pages (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, our interest in running a website).
The plan builder
Your answers stay in your browser. They are never sent to us or to anyone else.
If you tick "keep my answers in this browser", they sit in your browser's local storage on your device until you delete them there.
The weekly letter
What we collect: your email address, and the time, IP address and browser of your signup and of your confirmation, to prove your consent.
Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). The consent record: Art. 7(1) GDPR and our interest in proving it (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
No tracking: our emails carry no pixels and no tracked links.
Spam check: Cloudflare Turnstile runs when you use the form. It does not read what you type.
Processors: Cloudflare, Inc. hosts the site and the subscriber database in the European Union, under a data processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR).
Mailjet [exact contracting entity from the DPA you accept] sends the emails and stores data in the EU, on our instructions (Art. 28 GDPR). [Confirm both agreements are in place and link each one.]
Retention: a signup you never confirm is deleted after about nine days.
After you unsubscribe we keep the consent record for three years, then delete the IP address and browser data.
A one-way hash of your address stays on a do-not-email list so you are not re-added by mistake.
Your rights
Unsubscribe with the link in every issue, or by replying "unsubscribe".
Access, correction, erasure, restriction, objection: write to privacy@joinsikap.com. Withdrawing consent does not affect earlier processing.
